Today we are interviewing one of my favourite artists for Boudoir Hair and Make Up!
If you have been following my work for a while you will know just how much I LOVE the girls I get to work alongside every day! The artists that I recommend to my clients are invaluable to me and I trust each and every one of them implicitly to make you feel amazing for your session!
Today we are taking to Lucy from Lucy Bernier Hair and Make Up, so you guys can get to know her a little better!

Years as a make up artist?
What 3 items do you always have in your handbag?
Kiko Blotting Papers to take down any T-zone shine build up during the day. Mac Lady Danger lipstick, the perfect shade of orange red
Spearmint Polo’s, they are my weakness.
What are your 3 best everyday products?
Elemis Resurfacing Pads – the best prep for your makeup application, refines, smooths, brightens and boosts cell renewal!
Mac Shape & Shade brow pencil, easy to use for quick ‘on fleek’ brows!
Milk Makeup Creme Blush in Werk, for an instant rosy glow.
How would the person closest to you describe you?
Warm, funny, beautiful soul, kooky, compassionate, not a morning person.
Where’s you favorite place on earth?
Sat round the dining table playing board games with our 4 children, their partners, our granddaughter Paloma and our two springer spaniels underfoot. Other than that it has to be Amadores Beach Club in Gran Canaria with a cold çerveza in my hand.
What’s top of your bucket list?
To travel more, New York is currently top of the list!
What’s your secret guilty pleasure?
Cliff Richard – Wired For Sound, honestly listen to it, it’s an absolute banger!
What do you love most about your job?
I joined this industry because I wanted to make people feel good. It’s like a drug to me, there is no better feeling than watching a bride walk off to her wedding, an event client leave for a party or a boudoir client get ready for their shoot oozing nothing but sass and confidence because they know they look incredible. My job is about empowering women to work with what they’ve got and LOVE themselves just that little bit more than when they first sat in my chair. I pinch myself that I get to do this daily, this job rocks!
Where do you look for inspiration?
Honestly, from everywhere, nature, magazines, TV, following my MUA colleagues and idols on social media, having worked London & Paris fashion weeks in the past I’m also always drawn to checking out the latest trends coming off the catwalks and interpreting them into everyday wearable looks.
Last book you read?
The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle
Last show you binge watched?
The Boys, on Amazon Prime. So Good!!
What in your career, are you most proud of to date?
Getting my work published on a bridal magazine front cover. Was so unexpected and had been on my ‘dream board’ for over a year so now I can tick that off and replace it with a new dream!
