Bridal Boudoir Sneak Peek | A Confidence Boost Before Her Wedding Day

There is something incredibly special about photographing a bride in the weeks before her wedding.

Not just because of the excitement that surrounds this chapter, but because so many women arrive carrying a mixture of anticipation, nerves and self-doubt.

This beautiful bride booked her bridal boudoir experience as both a gift for her fiancé and an opportunity to give herself a confidence boost before her wedding day. Like so many women who enquire with me, the nerves didn't really kick in until the drive to the session. And honestly? That's completely normal.

Walking into a new experience, especially one that feels vulnerable, can feel daunting. Yet time and time again I see women arrive with nerves and leave seeing themselves differently.

After professional hair and makeup by the wonderful Lauren from ID Hair and Makeup, we spent the morning creating a collection of beautiful, elegant images that she will not only gift to her future husband but treasure herself for years to come. One of my favourite things she shared afterwards was that she never imagined standing in front of somebody she'd only just met could feel so empowering.

She told me:

"You both made me feel so beautiful from the start. The setting is stunning and I didn't have to worry about knowing how to pose as you showed me and made me feel so comfortable."

And perhaps my favourite comment of all:

"I'm glowing from the inside."

For me, that perfectly captures what bridal boudoir is really about. Yes, the photographs become a beautiful wedding gift. Yes, they create lasting memories. But more importantly, they give women the opportunity to see themselves with a little more kindness and confidence before one of the biggest days of their lives.

I am so excited to share these sneak peeks from her beautiful session and I cannot wait for her to see the rest of her collection. With her wedding day now just around the corner, I hope these photographs serve as a reminder of just how beautiful she already is.
