Waiting For You | Hampshire Maternity Photography

There is something so special about photographing a mum to be in those final weeks before everything changes.

H is expecting her baby in August, and spending the morning documenting this season for her felt like such a privilege. Pregnancy can feel long in the moment, but somehow these months pass incredibly quickly. Between preparing the nursery, counting down the weeks and imagining the moment you finally meet your baby, it can be easy to forget just how fleeting this chapter really is.

That is one of the reasons I love maternity photography so much. It gives us the opportunity to pause. To celebrate not only the baby who is coming, but the woman carrying them.

This session was filled with so much warmth, excitement and anticipation for everything that lies ahead.

The softest light, beautiful flowing fabrics. A growing bump that will soon become a baby held in loving arms.

And honestly, I absolutely loved every minute of it.
