One of my favourite things about this job is the glorious people I get to meet, Alice ( and her now husband Grant ) were two of these. I met Alice and Grant last year when they booked me for their wedding at The Clock Barn. Alice quickly decided a Bridal Boudoir session would be perfect for her and so we arranged it for a few months before the big day.

It was so lovely spending a bit more time with Alice before the big day, and the images we created were just amazing! So it is with very great pleasure that I present to you a selection of Alice’s images, and an interview with the leading lady herself.

How would the closest person to you describe you? Grant said perfect 🙂 but I’d probably say, organised caring and funny

What are your favorite simple pleasures in life? Reading, baths and walks along the beach

What ( if anything ) were you nervous about? Being in just underwear in front of someone, and that I’d feel huge in the photos!

Tell us about the lingerie you brought to your session? I chose underwear that accentuated my chest and drew attention away from areas I was more self conscious of. I chose a body, babydoll and a cami paired with hold ups and black heels

Tell us about your shoot experience? The shoot was amazing, Becky makes you feel comfortable as soon as you arrive! Having your hair and make up done makes you feel so glamorous and really adds to the experience. During the shoot Becky makes you feel so at ease stopping every now and then just to chat, you completely forget you’re just in your underwear. It was an incredible experience that makes you feel so confident about yourself!

What’s your guilty pleasure? Prawn cocktail Pringles

What’s your biggest life achievement so far? Getting married

Name the top item on your bucket list? Seeing the northern lights

What’s your big body confidence tip? Stop comparing yourself to everyone else. Everyone is beautiful in their own way and once your embrace that and stop trying to change to be someone else then life becomes much better!

What advice would you give someone booking their boudoir session? Just do it!
