Bridal Boudoir Sneak Peek | Before the Wedding, Just for You

The months leading up to a wedding are filled with excitement.

There are dresses to collect, final details to organise and countless moments spent looking forward to the day you've been dreaming of. But amongst all of the planning, it's easy to forget to take a moment for yourself.

This lovely bride-to-be joined me recently for her bridal boudoir experience ahead of her October wedding, choosing to press pause on the wedding planning and spend a morning celebrating this incredibly special chapter in her life.

Like so many brides, she arrived feeling a mixture of excitement and nerves. It's completely natural to wonder what the experience will feel like, especially if it's your first time stepping in front of a camera.

The morning began with the wonderful Lucy Bernier, who created a beautifully soft, elegant look that suited her perfectly. As we chatted about the wedding plans, the countdown to October and everything still to come, those first few nerves slowly melted away.

With gentle guidance throughout the session, there was never any pressure to know how to pose or what to do. My role is simply to guide each bride every step of the way, allowing her to relax, enjoy the experience and simply be herself.

Many of the beautiful outfits she chose for her session were from LOUNGE, creating an effortlessly elegant collection of images that felt timeless and completely true to her own style.

As the morning unfolded, her confidence grew with every photograph. The nerves she arrived with were gradually replaced by laughter, excitement and that wonderful feeling of seeing yourself through a kinder lens. That's one of my favourite parts of every bridal boudoir session.

Yes, these photographs will become a beautiful gift to look back on. But they are also a reminder to pause, to celebrate yourself, to remember how this season felt before everything change.

Before the wedding. Just for her.

To this wonderful bride, thank you for trusting me to capture such a special part of your journey to "I do." It was an absolute joy to spend the morning with you, and I can't wait to share more from your beautiful bridal boudoir session.
