Bridal Boudoir Sneak Peek | A Calm, Romantic Bridal Session Before a July Wedding

Bridal Boudoir Sneak Peek | Before Her July Wedding Day

Yesterday’s bridal boudoir session felt incredibly special from beginning to end. With her wedding day just around the corner this July, she booked the experience as a deeply personal gift for her fiancé, something romantic, thoughtful and completely unexpected for the morning of the wedding.

And honestly, I think that’s part of what makes bridal boudoir feel so meaningful. Not simply the photographs themselves, but the intention behind them.

A Calm Morning Before The Wedding Day

Like almost every brides, she arrived a little nervous at first. But the atmosphere throughout the morning was calm and unhurried, allowing space to slowly settle into the experience naturally.

Soft natural light filled the room while Lauren from ID Hair & Makeup created the most beautiful look for the session.Nothing overly dramatic, just soft, feminine elegance that felt completely like her.

Those quieter moments at the beginning of a bridal boudoir session are often some of my favourites.

Bridal Boudoir As A Wedding Gift

Many brides initially enquire about bridal boudoir because they want to create something personal for their partner ahead of the wedding day. Sometimes an album, or Polaroid-style photographs to be delivered throughout the wedding day itself. But often the experience becomes something much more personal than they expected. A moment to pause during such a huge season of life, a chance to feel beautifully looked after for a few hours, and photographs that quietly preserve this version of themselves before everything changes.

A Softer Approach To Bridal Boudoir Photography

My approach to bridal boudoir has always been intentionally calm, natural and fully guided throughout. Never rushed intimidating or overly performative. Just beautiful natural light, gentle direction and an atmosphere designed to help women feel comfortable enough to slowly relax into the experience.

Yesterday’s session was exactly that. Elegant, romantic and softly feminine.

And I already know her fiancé is going to be completely blown away when he sees the final photographs on their wedding day this July.
