Rachel’s bridal boudoir session story
What encouraged you to book with me?
A family member had a bridal boudoir shoot a few years ago (with a different photographer) and said it was a massive confidence boost! I wanted to buy some luxury pieces of lingerie for my wedding day & honeymoon and not feel silly wearing them. The idea of my fiancés face on our wedding morning, as he opened the photo album also made me chuckle! I chose Rebecca because the photos just looked so elegant and she seemed so genuine & lovely - and she was!
How did you feel before your session?
A mix of nervous & excited... but as soon as I met Rebecca I relaxed and we chatted like old friends!
What was the favourite part of your day?
The shoot itself was my favourite part of the day. I wasn't quite sure what to expect but within minutes I felt relaxed and sometimes forgot I was even having a shoot, and I think my confidence grew as the shoot went on!
How did you feel after?
I felt like a celebrity! But also sad it was over! Now I'm just excited to see the finished product and can't wait to share them with my husband to be!! Thanks again Rebecca for creating such a memorable experience.
Becky’s boudoir session story
How did you feel before your session?
I was feeling quite nervous before the session but also excited. All the information you shared beforehand really set my mind at ease and although I was a little anxious I was also really looking forward to an amazing empowering experience!
What encouraged you to book with me?
I have a 2.5 year old son and since his birth I have really lost confidence in myself, especially my body and how it looks. With pregnancy and then being a mum it feels a lot of the time like your body isn’t really yours anymore and I found myself at the bottom of the priority list. I wanted to do something to help me love my body how it looks now and to remind myself that I am still Becky and not just mummy!
What was the favourite part of your day?
Wow, this question is near on impossible to answer without just saying all of it. Rebecca instantly made me feel at ease and welcome. Her hair and makeup artist Lucy made me feel like a princess. Our conversations flowed throughout the whole experience and Rebecca had me genuinely laughing and smiling throughout the shoot. She demonstrated poses and made comments that made me feel beautiful.
How did you feel after?
Like I have been floating on a cloud!
“I recently booked a Boudoir session with Rebecca for a present for my husband to be. I was naturally a little nervous but really didn’t need to be.
I was put at ease straight away!! My hair and make up was done by Lucy which I absolutely loved!!

“WOW!!! What an amazing experience. If you are thinking about it trust me it’s worth it!!! It was a present from my Husband and was nothing like I imagined. “Everyone who knows me, will know how unconfident and self conscious I am, how much I hate the way I look and the size of me, how much I hate pictures being taken of me I’ll only take them as a ‘selfie’ it’s a struggle to get a ‘decent’ picture out of the 100’s I take I only really ever like one or two if I’m lucky but I honestly highly recommend a boudoir photo shoot so much for anyone feeling this way! How did you feel before your session?
Before the shoot I had mixed feelings about my pregnant body. I was a little nervous and really appreciated the preparation guide.
What encouraged you to book with me?
My husband initially found the website having spent some time researching - he’d read some fantastic reviews about Rebecca! I liked the photos in the gallery but when I took the time to read through the website, Rebecca’s words about how to carefully compose images showcasing maternal beauty with elegance, I was convinced she was the only person I’d trust for this.

I felt pretty nervous looking for someone to trust and put faith into for this as it’s a rather vulnerable situation especially when you don’t feel the most confident in yourself.
What encouraged you to book with me?
I could feel the warm and trusting energy in Rebecca’s website and Instagram posts and just knew straight away that this was someone I wanted to use to create this artwork with.
